Civil War–Era Ball & Night Firing
Join us Saturday evening at the pavilion for an elegant Civil War–era ball featuring historic dances, followed by a dramatic cannon firing under the night sky.
All proceeds support ongoing village restoration efforts.
All public visitors are asked to enter through the Welcome Center.

Village Potter – Burr Mill
Watch as Chuck brings clay to life using a traditional kick wheel, crafting pots, bowls, and plates.

We accept both cash and cards for admission, as well as in the General Store and Café. Many vendors also accept cards, but some are cash-only, so bringing cash is appreciated.
Because of the crowds, noise, and busy schedule during Civil War Days, we recommend leaving pets at home for their comfort and safety.
Yes! There will be cannons and other loud equipment being used. Please plan accordingly for your family’s needs.
Yes! Many of the buildings will have events happening within, all others that are safe for entry will be open for exploration.
